CVSWMD Recycling Depot Prices (updated November 1, 2007)

NO Construction & Demolition Materials, Truckloads, or Loose Trash Accepted. All pricing on a per item basis, at attendant discretion. All items are not accepted at each facility. See Items Accepted at Each Depot link for details.

TRASH-RELATED ITEMS

Bagged household trash $2.50 per 15gal./12.5lbs
$3.50 for a 30gal/25 lb bag
$5.50 per bag over 25 pounds
Carpet or Padding 6' x 8' is the largest accepted *will be charged a per bag equivalent
Mattresses/Boxsprings $10 each. Only exception is crib size for $5.
Couches minimum $16; $2 per 25 pounds (Ex: love seat & up)
Recliners minimum $10; $2 per 25 pounds
Desks minimum $10; $2 per 25 pounds (Ex: 2' w x 4' l x 3' h)

ELECTRONICS
Note: Items can be recycled at the Barre Town Depot and special collections only. Please ask the depot attendant for information. No electronics manuals or software accepted.

Computer System $10-includes small printer
Television $10; $5 for TV with 10" screen or smaller.
Electronic device or computer component $5-ie. VCR, stereo, fax machine, monitor, microwave
Console TV or large copier $20
Small electronic device $2-ie. cell phone, hand-held computer game, camera

METAL

Scrap Metal $2 per cubic yard (3x3x3)
Appliances $5; examples include Stoves, Washers, Dryers, Water Heaters
Refrigerators/Freezers/Air Conditioners $10 (requires CFC removal)
Commercial Refridgerators $75 (requires CFC removal)
Helium Tanks $2 (requires valve removal)
Propane Tanks $10 for 20 lb. tank; $1 for smaller tank
**LP gas tanks and cylinders only; 20lb. size limit

TIRES

Maximum of 20 tires per day, per resident or business. For larger loads, please call ahead—800-730-9475. $3 per car tire with or without rims (13" to 16")
$5 per truck tire without rims (16.5" to 24")
$7 per truck tire with rims
$70 per heavy equipment tire (24.5" & up)
