What To Do
- Compost leaves and brush on site if possible, or mulch leaves in place.
- Keep “clean” leaves (those free of automotive and other residues) separate from contaminated ones.
- Partner with local farms to take clean leaves for mulch and composting.
- Call your town clerk to inquire about a community yard waste area.
- Lawn clippings can be left on the lawn. Or use them as a mulch around plantings.
