    Business/ Organization Site Assessment Request Form

    The Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District offers a variety of options to businesses and organizations to help reduce waste and comply with Vermont’s Universal Recycling Law, Act 148. Our services are available to businesses and organizations operating in CVSWMD member towns only. *See list of member towns below. 
     
    What Can CVSWMD offer your Business:
    • Consult with business/organization staff and leaders to create action plans for waste reduction.
    • Consult with landlords and property managers to help manage tenant waste at rental properties.
    • Assist your staff and leaders in understanding and complying with Vermont’s Universal Recycling Law in the most affordable, simplest way possible.
    • Provide site assessments: evaluate waste station set-ups, potential contamination, assess hazardous waste disposal, and food scraps disposal. Provide a written site assessment summary with suggestions and resources.
    • Consult on local options for food scrap hauling and waste oil, if applicable.
    • Staff training: train your staff to understand what goes into each bin and what stays out.
    • Provide signage: use our signage for your waste stations, download and print your own
    • Direct you to grant programs, if applicable, for purchasing materials needed.
