Got Clean Wood? Find Out Where to Bring It.

Why "Clean Wood?" Leaves, Yard Waste & Clean Wood Debris have been banned from the landfill as of July 1, 2016 thanks to Vermont's Universal Recycling Law.  The Clean Wood ban is part of a large ban that includes recyclables, food scraps, and more. These items have reuse and recycling options, and will help us keep Vermont's only lined landfill operating longer.

What Is "Clean Wood"?

  • Logs
  • Pallets
  • Dimensional lumber
  • Brush and branches over 1" in diameter
Got stumps or roots? They are NOT clean wood, scroll down to find more.
