Emergency Municipal Solid Waste Response Program Grant

The EMSWRP grant program is intended to support member communities that need to take action to clean up, mitigate, and prevent unanticipated solid waste problems caused by nature or by illegal activity. These funds should be used to address an immediate need and, if possible, prevent its reccurence.

CVSWMD has allocated an annual total of $2,000 for EMSWRP grants. Up to $2,000 per town are available for reimbursement, while funds are available. Applications will be accepted from city/town officials or any other party responsible for making decisions about your municipality’s waste management.

Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first serve basis.
