What is a transfer station?
|
Transfer stations are solid waste drop-off and collection points that accept trash, recycling, leaf and yard waste and food scraps, as well as other materials.
Many Vermont transfer stations accept food scraps for diversion. If you need trash and recycling pick-up, see a list of licensed haulers operating within CVSWMD. |
Some transfer stations take the following materials, while others do not. Call ahead to find out if a transfer station accepts something and what it costs to drop it off.

These facilities are NOT operated by the CVSWMD. For more information, please contact facilities directly.
