Choosing Safer Products
Look for the EPA Safer Choice, Green Seal Certified or EcoLogo labels on products to identify safer choices. These organizations do research and test products to evaluate them for health and safety. They are mission driven to protect and promote human and environmental health.
Many self care and cosmetic products also contain toxins and are harmful to environmental and personal health. The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and Skin Deep (Environmental Working Group), and Think Dirty, all work to help you make safer and more informed choices. |
