Public Hearing for Comments on SWIP Eco Depot Amendment
The Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District (CVSWMD) will hold a hearing to take public comments about the amendment of the 2020 Solid Waste Implementation Pan (SWIP) to include the new CVSWMD Eco Depot, to be sited at 300 Granger Rd. in Berlin, VT.
The proposed facility will be the headquarters of CVSWMD and will include administrative offices as well as the Additional Recyclables Collection Center (ARCC) and a year-round Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection facility. Copies of CVSWMD’s proposal to include the facility in the 2020 SWIP are available at the Berlin, VT town office, the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commisison, at cvswmd.org, or by calling 802-229-9383, ext. 108, or [email protected].

Written comments on the inclusion of the facility in CVSWMD’s 2020 SWIP are welcome until 4pm on Monday, October 7th. Comments may be sent by email to [email protected] or by mail to 137 Barre St, Montpelier VT 05602.
