Scrap Metal Recycling

Clean steel and aluminum cans, foil, and trays can be recycled in your blue-bin recycling. For other types of metal, or pieces that are too small or large for the bin, you can go to a scrap metal recycler or transfer station that accepts scrap metal.

Scrap Metal Recyclers in Central Vermont:
All Metals Recycling, Hardwick, VT
802-472-5100
Bolduc Metal Recycling, Middlesex, VT
802-223-7917
Gates Salvage Yard, Hardwick, VT
802-472-5794

Many Transfer Stations also accept scrap metal separately from blue-bin recyclables. Ask your local transfer station attendant for more information.
