Leftover/Surplus Food Donation: Guidance & Locations

Have edible, leftover/surplus food? Don't throw it out - donate it! The entities listed below accept food donations, including produce and pre-consumer (untouched, prepared, but not yet served) foods, and provide them to in need members of the central Vermont community!
Donated food must be suitable for human consumption and be handled properly (see additional information below under "Guidance"). If food looks or smells bad, is moldy, or has damaged packaging don't donate it – compost it! In advance of making a donation, be sure to reach out to any of the entities listed below to determine it they can accept your donation, drop-off hours, how it will be transported to their location, etc. |
